New York City Ballet Master Class
In an exciting new initiative by New York City Ballet, 2011-12 marks the inaugural season of New York City Ballet MOVES, a select group of 25 performers from NYCB’s outstanding roster of principals, soloists, corps and musicians. NYCB MOVES will make its formal debut at the 2011 Vail International Arts Festival followed by a national tour showcasing the company’s vast repertory of works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins, and Christopher Wheeldon. Under the direction of Peter Martins, two dynamic programs will be performed to live music.
