Your support of Santa Barbara Dance Alliance is greatly appreciated. There are several ways you may support SBDA and the dance community, including our annual membership.

If you would like to make an online donation and give dance a chance, you can make a secure donation through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account you may use a credit card or send a check.

Please inform the SBDA of your intention of doing a mailing, using our Non-profit Bulk Mail status well in advance. The Post Office has very stringent restrictions and we need to make sure we are in compliance ahead of time. SBDA return address is the recognized address by the U.S. Post Office for all non-profit bulk mailing under our permit. They must think SBDA is doing the mailing.

Here are some guidelines, but not all. Please ask!

You may use our non-profit bulk mail rate. The indicia must be printed on your mailer with this exact wording:

By prearrangement, any copy shop or printer will deliver to a bulk mail house, and you will not be charged sales tax. We use CC Mail and Hope, the owner, will work with you from concept to final product to make sure that the mailing is within postal regulations.
You can use CC Mail’s Bulk Mail (for profit) indicia at much less than .37 each, but a little more than our non-profit rate. You do not need to be an Umbrella to use that. Call CC Mail for rates and quotes. Of course, you can use your own mailing list. You may e-mail your own list to them and they can also merge lists.

Our list has about 2500 names on it. We are constantly updating, increasing our list and correcting addresses on it.

When you are ready for the mailing list, call us. We will calculate the cost of the list use.

When we receive your check we will send a current updated list to CC Mail Services or your mail house.

You may do your own bulk mail setup and take it to the Post Office in Goleta for mailing or have any other mail house do it, too.

Mailing list charges are for each bulk-mailing event. You may not copy our list.

  • SBDA Umbrellas 5¢ per label. Maximum charge is $100.
  • SBDA members pay 7¢ per label, non-member groups pay 10¢ per label
  • If you ask for a set of printed labels directly from SBDA, add 3¢ per label to the above rates
