DanceFlash
what is danceflash?
DanceFlash is a weekly e-newsletter publication that is e-mailed to over 800 Santa Barbara community residents. It informs our constituents about dance events, workshops, master classes, job auditions, scholarships and grant opportunities in Santa Barbara County, as well as state and nation-wide arts advocacy news. It is sent or "flashed" out on Mondays of each week, with the exception of National Holidays. DanceFlash is a membership benefit of SBDA, meaning that our members can utilize DanceFlash for their dance publicity needs.
danceflash policies
We will list information up to two weeks on DanceFlash. SBDA reserves the right to edit any DanceFlash submissions. Submissions must be recieved the Friday before publication. We can also accept photos for submissions in JPG or GIF format. Email submissions to: dance@sbdancealliance.org

- Brief Announcements
- Membership Dance Events & Performances
- Workshops and Master Classes
- Auditions & Jobs Opportunities
- Grants & Scholarships
- Arts Advocacy
we will NOT list
- Items unrelated to dance
- Listings from outside of SB County unless they contain grants, job/audition opportunities, or arts advocacy
- Studio & instructor class schedules
- Studio open house or introductory class announcements
- Workshops that last longer then one week
- Fundraisers (performances ok)
